DIY Foot Balm

DIY Foot Balm

From Elana’s Pantry

INGREDIENTS:
¼ cup shea butter (or Mango butter)
2 tablespoons coconut oil
2 tablespoons olive oil
½ ounce beeswax, grated or pellets
10 drops Vanilla CO2 Extract
10 drops Peppermint Essential Oil

DIRECTIONS:
Heat coconut oil, olive oil, and beeswax over low heat just until melted. Add shea butter, and heat just until melted to prevent it getting grainy. Remove from heat and add essential oils.

I opted to use deodorant containers. This will make 4 oz total, so you’ll need two 2.5oz deodorant containers if you choose to do the same.

Let cool completely before use.

  1. Hey Jen, I am so glad I found your blog! I just have a question about your foot balm. I plan on making it today, but am wondering how you measure a 1/2 cup butter since it is hard until melted. Do you perchance have an approximate weight for the shea butter and the coconut oil? Thanks so much!
